Greetings! Happy Washingtonβs Birthday to those celebrating.
Letβs get into todayβs top stories.
Most anti-aging devices are expensive placebos. This one isn't.
Red light therapy sounds like wellness bullsh*t. We get it.
But Celluma is the only LED brand with 5 FDA clearances, not just for wrinkles, but also pain relief, hair growth, body contouring & more. Clinical trials showed 80% improvement in skin texture and a 66% reduction in wrinkles after 4 weeks of consistent use.
Most LED devices don't have the power density or wavelength precision to actually do anything. Celluma does. With proprietary processor-driven algorithms that deliver proven results, plus a patented design that shapes around your face, scalp, or any body part. No needles, no downtime, no Botox appointments.
The only catch? Consistent use. This isn't a one-and-done fix. It's mitochondrial support for your skin & entire body, a fancy way of saying it helps your cells do their job.
If you're already spending money on anti-aging stuff anyway, at least try something with actual clinical backing.
Results vary. Consistency required. FDA-cleared for specific indications.

π²π½ Mexico kills cartel boss βEl Menchoβ, chaos follows. Officials said Nemesio RubΓ©n Oseguera Cervantes led the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Mexicoβs Defense Department said he was wounded in Tapalpa and died while being flown to Mexico City. Authorities said cartel crews torched cars at more than 250 points across 20 states. Guadalajara, set to host World Cup matches this summer, emptied as smoke rose, with its international airport overrun by masked gunmen. School was canceled Monday in several states, and highways became barricade galleries. Officials in Jalisco, Michoacan, and Guanajuato reported at least 14 deaths. They said seven of the dead were National Guard troops. A Jalisco official said one guardsman died in Tapalpa and six more in Zapopan. President Claudia Sheinbaum urged calm while noting kingpin takedowns can splinter violence. Mexico got the trophy, and CJNG sent the receipt.

πΈπΎ Al-Hol camp empties as Syria closes a grim chapter. Officials said the camp once held families linked to the Islamic State group (IS). Fadi al-Qassem, a Syrian Foreign Ministry representative, said the final convoy left Sunday morning. After IS fell in 2019, about 73,000 people lived there, mostly Syrian and Iraqi women and children. Repatriations cut that to about 24,000 as of last month, officials said. The United Nations (UN) refugee agency said it helped return 191 Iraqis on Thursday. Hundreds were moved to Akhtarin camp in Aleppo province, while others went back to Iraq. Damascus said the desert site was too remote and too close to areas it cannot fully police. Last month, government forces seized al-Hol after a weekslong fight with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Many families are believed to have escaped during and after the fighting. The smaller Roj camp remains under SDF control, and 34 Australian women and children were turned back on February 16th.

π¨ Man with a shotgun is killed at Mar-a-Lagoβs gate. The United States Secret Service (USSS) said a driver breached the secure perimeter around 1:30 a.m. Officials identified him as 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin of North Carolina, recently reported missing. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said Martin carried a gas can and a shotgun. Bradshaw said he entered the north gate as another vehicle exited. Two USSS agents and a sheriffβs deputy confronted him and ordered him to drop the items. Bradshaw said Martin set down the gas can, then raised the shotgun to a firing position. The agents and deputy shot him, and investigators have not named a motive. USSS spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Martin likely bought the gun while driving south, and a box was found in his vehicle. President Donald Trump was at the White House during the breach. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking neighbors to review security camera footage.

π½ Blizzard bans clamp New York City, flights get chopped. The National Weather Service (NWS) warned 1 to 2 feet of snow from Maryland to Massachusetts. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani banned non-emergency travel from 9 p.m. Sunday to noon Monday. New Jersey and other states prepared their own restrictions, and officials urged people to stay put. The NWS said visibility could drop to a quarter-mile in parts of the region. Forecasters said snow could fall at 2 inches per hour overnight Sunday into Monday. More than 3,500 flights were canceled across America as of Sunday afternoon, FlightAware said. Broadway shows went dark, and DoorDash paused deliveries overnight. Meteorologist Cody Snell at the Weather Prediction Center called it a major norβeaster. Meteorologist Bryce Williams in Boston warned wind plus wet snow could snap trees and prolong power outages. The storm may even meet the bomb cyclone definition, meteorologist Frank Pereira said.

π¦ JPMorgan admits it closed Trump accounts after January 6th. JPMorgan Chase & Co. ($JPM) acknowledged the closures following the 2021 insurrection in a court filing for the first time. The filing answers President Donald Trumpβs $5B lawsuit against CEO Jamie Dimon and the bank. Former chief administrative officer Dan Wilkening wrote that in February 2021 the bank said certain accounts would be closed. He said the notices covered the private bank (PB) and commercial bank (CB) units. Trump says the decision was political and disrupted business operations. The bank wants the case moved from Florida state court to federal court and to New York. Trumpβs lawyers also allege a reputational blacklist that blocks future banking. The filing says βdebankingβ has become a politically charged issue with real-world consequences. Regulators in Trumpβs administration are moving to curb βreputational riskβ as a reason to deny service. In this fight, paperwork is the weapon and discovery is the battlefield.
